Horrible customer service and an extremely disappointing experience.

I ordered a $550 combo from Javastasia Distributors Ltd. on Monday and was told by their customer service representative that delivery would take approximately three days. With delivery, the total would have been $615, payable upon delivery. It is now Friday, and we still have not received the order or even a proper update from the company.

Throughout the process, the customer service representative kept responding with what felt like copied-and-pasted messages instead of communicating like someone who was genuinely interested in helping resolve the issue.

What made the situation even worse was when my wife called from my phone to find out when we could expect the delivery. The same representative told her that their driver had an emergency and had not been working for the entire week, so delivery was not possible. She then went on to say that deliveries are slow anyway and that it would essentially be a waste of time for them to send a driver out just to deliver our order.

That response was completely unacceptable. If the company knew that its driver was unavailable for the entire week and that our order could not be delivered within the timeframe we were given, the professional thing to do would have been to contact us and let us know. We would have simply purchased our chicken elsewhere instead of waiting all week for an order that apparently was never going to be delivered.

The lack of communication was bad enough, but the dismissive attitude toward a customer who was prepared to pay $615 for an order made the experience even worse. Customers should not have to chase a business for basic information about an order, only to then be made to feel as though delivering it is an inconvenience.

Javastasia Distributors Ltd. seriously needs to improve both its customer service and the way it communicates with customers. This experience was highly unprofessional from beginning to end, and based on what we went through, I would not recommend ordering from them for delivery.
